Russian Pacific Navy Fleet history
Vladivostok is a home for Pacific Fleet’s Headquarters.
During the WWII, C-56 was declared “dead” 19 times, yet it always returned. Now it is unsinkable forever. In 1975 the submarine was converted into a monument and today it is one of the highlights of the “Military Gloryof the Pacific Navy Fleet” memorial complex.
The old Vladivostok Fortress is rightfully considered one of the most powerful coastal Fortress in the world.
Voroshilov battery is one of the unique fortification battery in the world. It is located on Russkiy island – the main part of the coastal defense system of Vladivostok.
SCF Far East Tall Ships Regatta 2018 (1 – 7 Sep)
Annual Regatta gathers participants from all the Asia Pacific Region. Vladivostok is the only city in Russia that is a home to two large sailboats. What is more, there are only two cities like this in the entire world: Vladivostok and Tokyo. Moreover, we can offer you a possibility to join Regata as a passenger or a part of the crew.
