Land of the leopard is the national park created in order to preserve and restore the population of Amur leopards – the world rarest big-bodied felines. Siberian tigers listed in the Red Book also live here. The park offers several routes to choose:
2 - 2.5 hour routes:
The leopard live. The route runs to the cave just like those where leopards grow up their young ones. On your way there is a possibility to meet leopard spoors. The chance to face leopards is very low but it is recommended to be careful, anyway. You will also climb small Skalistaya mountain with 11 caves often used by leopards as shelters. The guide will check trail cameras installed on the route and show latest records with wild animals.
By the leopard path. This is a health promoting hiking through the forest during which you will climb Buslenko mountain and see the South-Ussury taiga. You will have a unique chance to walk through broad-leaved forest full of cedars. With the help of the guide and information stands you will know the story of the national park and Kedrovaya pad nature reserve.
8 hour route:
To the core of Cedar forest. The ecological trail starts from the central manor of the nature reserve. Throughout the 7 kilometer excursion you will get acquainted with local representatives of flora and fauna and meet with some inhabitants of Kedrovaya pad. You will also walk along the path often used by Amur leopards and Siberian tigers.
You can either have lunch in the natural park café or we can organize a picnic for you. Please, inform us of your preferences concerning the place and food in advance.
After the excursion you will be transported to the airport or your hotel.
