We offer you to cross Pearl of Siberia by doggy teams. Center of driver sport is unique not only on Baikal but also in the whole region.
Day 1
Arrival at Irkutsk. Meeting in the airport/railway station. Transfer to settlement of Listvyanka (70 km from Irkutsk).
Hotel “Baykal” check-in. Dinner. Visiting of the Center of Driver sport which is located near hotel. The acquaintance with dogs and instructing. Visit museum of Baikal, Svyatonikol’skoy church, or walk across embankment. Supper. Night in the hotel.
Day 2
Breakfast. Visit center driver sport. Entrance to Baikal ice. START(*). Dinner on the middle of lake. After small rest group continues a way to the east bank of Baikal.
Speed of movement is reduced, nevertheless, before dark you come to the station of Tankhoy. The overnight is organized on the shore. It enables to feel charms of the cold spending the night on ice of lake.
* Experience shows that the most difficult thing is to hold out on dog sleds first 10 km. The running is sense of life for our dogs and first half hour they hold high speed (50 km/h). There is possible to look around and even to do a few snapshots. An instructor sits on dog sleds, and helps you to manage dogs. During the trip people have the opportunity to swap places with the instructor.
Day 3
Breakfast. Coming back to the Western side of Baikal on own track. Dinner. Transfer to Listvyanku. Night in the hotel “Irkutsk”.
Day 4
Breakfast. Transfer to Irkutsk.
